1. Multiple Sourcing Framework Contracts to Speed up the Development of and Access to Innovative Medical Countermeasures: Next-Generation Influenza Vaccines
Scope: This call for tenders seeks to accelerate the development of next-generation, rapidly scalable influenza vaccines with innovative production platforms, novel administration routes, broad protection against pandemic influenza A viruses, and intrinsic immunogenicity, through a phased Pre-Commercial Procurement process. This is a competitive procedure with negotiation with a maximum contract duration of 98 months.

2. Development of a rapid point-of-care antimicrobial susceptibility testing diagnostic medical device
Scope: This call for tenders seeks to accelerate the development of rapid point-of-care diagnostic devices providing antimicrobial susceptibility results within one hour, ideally with pathogen identification, targeting priority bacterial and fungal pathogens, progressing from TRL 3+ towards CE marking and TRL 8 qualification. This is a competitive procedure with negotiation with a maximum contract duration of 48 months.

3. Speed up the access to and uptake of an Mpox vaccine
Scope: This call for tenders aims to generate scientific evidence on the immune response to the MVA-BN vaccine, focusing on the need and optimal timing of booster doses through Phase II and/or III clinical trials, comparing intradermal and subcutaneous administration, to inform public health strategies, EU policies, and stockpiling initiatives. This is an open procedure with a maximum contract duration of 36 months.
