The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Latvia, which is National Focal Point of the EU4Health programme, organised an informative seminar on the EU4Health and Horizon Europe programmes in Latvia on 10th April 2024.
The event was organised for representatives of hospitals, public and private insitutions, NGOs, research institutes and others who are interested in the programmes. The event, which gathered around 80 participants, was organised in the surroundings of Ministry of Health, and participants could attend the seminar in presence or online.
During the event the Ministry of Health informed about the aims and priorities of the programme, forms of funding, Work Programme 2024, calendar of joint actions, direct grants, calls for proposals, calls for tenders, co-financing and nomination process.Additionally, the experienced project implementer, respresentative of Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of Republic of Latvia presented information about submission and implementation process of EU4Health projects. Subsequently, the synergy with Horizon Europe programme was provided – the representative of National Contact Point provided information about the Horizon Europe programme for the participants of the seminar, especially such thematic directions as Health and Mission on Cancer were included in the presentation.
During the seminar participants addressed such questions as nomination process of joint actions, co-financing opportunities, budget-related questions, and others.
The participants of the seminar were grateful for the seminar organised and will start the development of project proposals within the EU4Health programme.
The event was organised in the framework of the “NFP4Health” project of the EU4Health programme.
